Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Srinagar Arrival
Arrival Upon arrival at Srinagar airport, you will be picked up by your hotel representative and transferred to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the local markets and enjoying the beautiful views of the Dal Lake.
Late Afternoon, visit the Mughal Gardens – Shalimar Bagh, Nishat Bagh, and Chashme Shahi. These beautiful gardens were built during the Mughal era and are known for their intricate design, fountains, and colorful flowers. Later in the day, visit the Shankaracharya Temple, which is located on top of a hill and offers panoramic views of the city.

Day 2: Srinagar to Kargil
Start early in the morning from Srinagar to Sonamarg (approx. 80 km, 2-3 hours). En route, you can stop at various scenic spots like the picturesque town of Ganderbal and the Zojila Pass. After reaching Sonamarg, you can spend, we stop for some instagrammable pictures of the beautiful valley and continue to ride to Zoji La Top. Zoji La top has various activities like snow skiing, snow mobile, pony rides etc.
Continue to ride ahead towards Kargil.
En route, you can visit the Drass War Memorial and the Kargil War Museum.Reach Kargil by afternoon and check into your hotel.Spend the rest of the day exploring the town or just relaxing at your hotel.Overnight stay in Kargil.

Day 3: Kargil to Leh
- Start early in the morning from Kargil to Leh (approx. 220 km, 6-7 hours).
- En route, you can visit the Lamayuru Monastery and the Moonland rock formations.
- Continue your journey to Leh and check into your hotel.
- Spend the evening exploring the town and acclimatizing to the high altitude.
- Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 4: Leh – Lesiure
- Spend the day exploring the town of Leh.
- You can visit the Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa, and the Leh Market.
- In the afternoon, you can visit the Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery, and the Hemis Monastery.
- Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 5: Leh – Turtuk
Start early in the morning from Nubra Valley to Turtuk (approx. 80 km, 3-4 hours). En route, you will cross the Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world.
Thereafter ride down the mountain pass to enter the valley, you can stop at various scenic spots like the Diskit Monastery and the Yarab Tso Lake.
After reaching Turtuk, you can spend the day exploring the town, visiting the Turtuk Waterfall, the Royal House of Yagbo, the Tyakshi Palace, and the Turtuk Gompa.
You can also take our Optional CMT guided tour to the local apricot and walnut orchards.
Overnight stay in Turtuk.

Day 6: Turtuk – nubra Valley
After a sumptuous breakfast, depart for Thang Village which is the last village between India and POK. Visit
Return to hotel and load your luggage in backup vehicle. Thereafter continue your journey to Nubra Valley.
- Make your ride memorable by visiting the Sumur Village and the Samstanling Monastery.
- After that, you can visit the Yarab Tso Lake, a serene lake surrounded by snow-capped mountains.
- In the afternoon check in to your hotel and you can visit the Panamik Village, known for its hot springs.
- Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.


Day 7: Nubra – Pangong Lake
- Start early in the morning from Nubra to Pangong Lake
- En route, you can stop at the scenic spots marked in your CMT Maps Guide.
- After reaching Pangong Lake, you can enjoy the serene views of the lake and the surrounding mountains.
- Overnight stay in a luxury campsite near the lake.

Day 8: Pangong Lake – Tso Kar
- Start early in the morning from Pangong to Tso Kar
- En route, you can stop en route to get clicked with adorable MARMOTS.
- After that, you can cross the Chang La Pass, one of the highest mountain passes in the world.
- After reaching Tso Kar, you can check into your homestay / campsite and spend the day exploring the area.
- You can visit the Tso Kar Lake, a high-altitude lake that’s home to various species of birds, and take a walk around the surrounding hills.
- Overnight stay in a homestay / campsite near the lake.

Day 9: Tso Kar – Keylong
- Start early in the morning from Tso Kar to Keylong.
- En route, you can stop at the famous Gata Loops – 21 hair pin loops and click some pictures.
- After crossing the Tanglang La Pass, the second highest motorable pass in the world, you can reach Sarchu and enter the Himachal Pradesh State Border after registration
- Thereafter we continue our journey and en route, we shall stop at the Baralacha La Pass, a high-altitude pass that offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
- After that, you can reach Keylong and check into your hotel.
- You can spend the rest of the day exploring the town and the local markets.
- Overnight stay in Keylong.

Day 10: Keylong to Manali
Start the day after breakfast, by visiting the Kardang Monastery, located just outside Keylong.
After that, you can visit the Shashur Monastery and the Tayul Monastery, both located in the nearby villages.
We depart for manali, which is short ride of 2-3 hrs crossing the famous Atal Rohtang Tunnel to our last himalayan city – Manali. Check in to hotel and relax for the evening.
We can visit the local market of old manali and enjoy local cafe / german bakery. Or you can visit a trout fish farm for some lip smacking freshly cooked Himalayan Trouts.

Day 11: Manali – Chandigarh
We depart early for our ride to Chandigarh shortly after breakfast. The total ride is approx 8-9 Hrs journey. We arrive at Chandigarh Hotel and evening at leisure to explore Chandigarh city.

Day 12: Departure
A Goodbye breakfast, with loads of Hugs among each other and wishing safe travels for our ways part from Chandigarh to our respective destinations.

Riding gears Recommended
- ATGATT ( All the gear , all the time)
- Thermals – A good pair of upper and lower to sleep in and another one for riding. Waterproof socks and gloves will help better in addition
- Rain Gear – You should be well prepared for getting wet as we will have multiple water crossing’s
- Personal Medicines to be carried along.
- Carrying a fuel cell is recommended.
